Most ocean life is well adapted to survive strong storms but it is hard to say it does not have an impact.  Damage from storms can alter the habitats of ocean animals and effect their ability to survive after the storm passes.  Damage to coral reefs for example can comply alter the habitats of many marine animals and plants who rely on them for shelter and survival. Each storm has a different impact. It is hard to answer specifically.
