Prions are known to infect certain mammals in which some sort of "cannibalization" has occurred such as human cannibalism or when deer eat plants in which have grown from the remains of other deer; has it ever been considered that in mad cow disease there could be some kind of possible connection with the cows consuming plants in which have grown from their own feces?
