Four haploid cells.
One diploid cell undergoes meiosis 1, and during this time, its homologous pairs are seperated. The cell separates into two cells , and half of the chromosomes (one from each homologous pair) are then in the other cell (so say there were 46 chromosomes in the cell. Once it separated into two cells, each would only have 23 chromosomes).
In meiosis 2, both of the cells duplicate.
